SIP FINGERPRINTER™ C and Java library provides real-time identification of SIP end-points and specific service provider networks.
It can be integrated with any applications running on Linux or Windows OS, with both C and Java Library formats as standard.
It is available via commercial licence to all 3rd Party vendors who have a SIP software component, such as SBCs, ISDN to SIP gateways, SIP IP PBXs, Enterprise SBCs or NGN Firewalls.
Always Identify VoIP Attack Kits
VoIP hackers, such as Toll Fraud or Telephony Denial of Service (TDoS) attackers, often use attack kits which have been tailored to look like messaging from a legitimate source. Being able to identify these attack kits is the first step in blocking such threats. Our logic does not simply rely on the User-Agent or Server fields within SIP message as attackers often spoof these fields.
Instead we examine the full message, all its headers and parameters, to identify a unique fingerprint that is matched against our own extensive library of known SIP user agents, both legitimate and non-legitimate. The library is optimized to minimize the performance impact on the platform in which it is integrated, and uses Velona’s proprietary technology to identify all known non-legitimate SIP attack tools, while for legitimate callers we identify the specific manufacturer along with the specific model & software version.
